Plumbob was founded with a thought to change the way trust flows in construction. We all have to agree that there is a widespread problem of trustworthiness of contractors and builders. We are often doubtful and subtly fear that we will NOT get what we are paying for. We are 3 civil engineers who want to change this with technology, commitment and transparency. Civil Engineers are often the best folks to hire for renovation and construction of commercial and residential properties and since plumbing and electrical are an integral part of structure of homes, engineers often have a better view of how they could be integral part of the architecture rather than an after-thought. Although due to the way market works today, engineers are really costly and hence we get shoddy job done by unskilled contractors (your neighborhood bhaiya!). Yes, "Contractor" is the dirty word of renovation and construction business. Everybody fears what cheap trick they might be doing next to cut corners.
